Alternative Fuels - Cutting Driving Costs

There is more research and production of Biofuels and Biodiesel these days. Change is often slow but it will come.

According to Michael Hill (Associated Press), there is a couple in New York making their rounds to “fuel up” their vehicle. Of course, their rounds are in some unlikely places to “fuel up” your vehicle. Their fuel is FREE for the asking! They pull up to the back door of restaurants that serve deep fried food. Yes, I said they “fuel up” at restaurants! No, not themselves but there VEHICLE!

Now, the Floeser’s did have to retro-fit their car to use the vegetable oil but there is biofuel and biodiesel production that people do not have to modify their vehicles. With the new alternative fuels development and production, we would be able to receive some relief from the strain of dependency on foreign oil. For the Floeser’s, they still have to purchase some petroleum fuel for their vehicle but the majority of their fuel is “FREE”.
