The Environmental Action Network Looks At The HIV Epidemic in Africa

Americans won’t look at AIDS until enough American know someone that is affected by the disease.
Evadne Sampson 1974

The Environmental Action Network has the purpose of providing information regarding Environmental and Humanitarian concerns. Through the process of Network Marketing, we hope to bring the message of these concerns to enough people and jointly help the organizations that work with these issues. Together, we can make things happen from a strong financial presence.

In Frank Betger’s book, “How I Raised Myself From Failure to Success in Selling”, the author used an instance to sell an insurance policy (his largest at the time) whereby he stressed the individual’s donations to missions as something he might consider being able to support long after he was gone.

What charities do you support or would want to support? Will they continue to receive your support after you are gone? Are you supporting the organizations now that you want to support?

Today, we want to look at Aids in Africa. In 1974, Evadne Sampson worked for a Hotel Union’s Medical clinic. She sadly watched young men come to the clinic that were affected with Aids. Each visit they looked older, more worn and wasting away. Each visit, until they just didn’t come back anymore.

AIDS or HIV has its roots in Africa. When it came to the United States, no one wanted to talk about it. As the epidemic grew, some people became concerned. Millions of infected people die each year in Africa. There are nearly 30 million people in Africa that are currently infected.

What will you do?

As you read these pieces of information, please keep in mind that we are building our financial resources jointly so we can collectively make a difference. For immediate help, you can visit this website: http://www.aidsandafrica.com/help.htm
